Forgot your password?

You can reset your own password for QSToolbox from the login page using the "Forgot Password button at the bottom of the form. Here's step-by-step instructions.

Step 1. Click "Forgot Password"

Go to your login page and click on the "Forgot Password?" button:

This will take you to the Password Reset Form.

Step 2. Enter your email address

Enter the email address associated with your Toolbox account and click the 'Reset my Password' button.

You'll see a confirmation screen and QSToolbox will send an email containing a password reset link.

Step 3. Find the reset email

Check your email account to find the reset email.

It should show up within a few minutes. If not, please check your Spam folder, or you can try searching your emails for the subject "Toolbox: Password Reset E-mail".

Take note of the username shown in the email. (circled in red in the example below)

(If you see a different message, please contact us for support. )

Step 4. Click the reset link

Click the link in the email to go to the password reset form.

Note that the link in this email can only be used once and only to reset your password. The link can't be used to log in. If you need to reset your password again later, you'll need to back to the login page and start the process again at step 1.

Step 5. Set a new password

In the Change Password form, enter your new password twice and click on the "Change Password" button. You should see a confirmation message.

You won't be logged in yet.

Step 6. Go to the login page

Click the "login" link at the top right of the screen to go to the login page.

Step 7. Login

Login with your new password.

Enter your username and the new password and click the "LOG IN" button.

Problems?

If you can't login and see the error "The username and/or password you specified are not correct" even though you're typing the new password carefully, there's a couple of other things to watch out for:

  • Double check you are trying to login with the username shown in the reset message. (Don't assume it's your email address)
  • Usernames are case sensitive, so "Username", "userNAme", "userNaMe" are all different and won't match "username". Make sure you're typing it exactly as it appears in the reset message.
  • Be careful not to accidentally add a trailing space at the end of the username. A space will cause the username to not match and the login to fail.

If the password reset process still isn't working and you've gone through the reset process twice, please contact us for support with some information on which step you're having problems with and any error messages you see.
