Sites

Issues and Incidents can have a "Site" field with a dropdown menu and matching reports to show Issues by Site and Incidents by Site.

Search options including by "Site", let you dig in to your data for analysis.

Sites are also used for reporting work hours and calculating Injury Frequency Rates.

If you don't see a "Site" field in Issues and Incidents in your QSToolbox, please get in touch with our support team to enable it for you. Smaller businesses with only one location may not need to use this field.

Configuring "Site" options

Drop down options for the Site field come from a vocabulary controlled in the Settings area. You will need to be in the "Staff" permission group to access Settings. Terms are added and changed in the same way as other vocabularies in QSToolbox.

Be cautious about deleting 'Site' terms as you may lose connected data (e.g., work hours).

The "Site" vocabulary is hierarchical so it supports parent and child terms, e.g.,

  • Parent
    • Child
  • NSW
    • Sydney
    • Dubbo
    • Grafton
  • QLD
    • Brisbane
    • Townsville

Typical usage is for business locations, but you might configure the "Sites" vocabulary according to other reporting needs, e.g., departments, worker categories (e.g. employees and subcontractors).

Change the Label for the "Site" field

The "Site" field label can be changed to better match your chosen usage,

e.g., "Department", "Production Line", "Work Group", etc,
